Efficiency and versatility are at the forefront alongside service life and low wear. D2cats uses up to 60% less compressed air than comparable air motors. D2cats is based on a rotor principle. The rotary motion is generated by special pressure transducers with high torque and variable speeds. A particular advantage of the drive concept is that D2cats has a very low energy requirement in the starting torque compared to other motors.

D2cats can be used in many areas, for example as a steam engine to generate electricity or as a hydrogen-powered combustion engine.

D2 plans to develop CATS as a combustion engine for hydrogen. Initial calculations show a significantly higher efficiency than with classic reciprocating piston engines.

Our technology can also be used in steam engines to generate electricity.
